FOOT AND ANKLE MEETING
FOR SCIENCE AND SKIING

On behalf of the Austrian Foot Society we are honoured to welcome you to the “8th International Meeting of the Austrian Foot Society” in Going.

This meeting was organized to establish and continue friendships in a stressless environment.

A major topics are the treatment of the OCD of the talus, the treatment of posterior tibial tendon dysfunction and Hindfoot malalignement. And we certainly discuss the forefoot pathologies.

Four prominent guests will come and share their experience with us. Dr. Nicholas Geary, Past President of the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society will lecture on the avoidable failures in Hallux Valgus surgery. Dr. Thanos Badekas, the director of the Foot & Ankle Center at the Summer Olympics in Athens 2004 will lecture on his experience in the treatment of cavovarus deformity. Dr. Mark Easly, Assistant Professor of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at Duke University Medical Center is heading the session on OCD of the talus and will share his experience in a world wide reknown Foot & Ankle Center with us. Prof. Dr. Viktor Valderrabano is lecturing on ankle malalignement and OCD.
